Blitz Maverick: Ruin ch 52

Vixine eventually made landfall after drifting to mainland for just an entire day and she awoken again to see the land still in ruins and the oceans in blood color and knew this place was no longer safe for any person to dwell on. She seen Sephiroth's tower and sensed great power within its walls and shook with fear but she knew what she must do in order to get everyone back. Vixine strolled down the fields to a town she was once at with Blitz called Albrook and there she seen people still alive from the attack and go on about living their lives. She gathered infomation from the locals as much as she could to see if any of her friends have passed by here and she got lucky and hit a snag. An old man who had seen a 7 ft 3in Black dragon person heading off in the direction of the village known as Miranda to the north. So she decided to leave town after much info gathering and headed to the north fighting monsters along the way with someone still following her and she doesnt notice. She made her way to the town of Miranda at the entrance and suddely flashes of light pass through the village and everyone runs to the back of the town near a house about to collapse. Vixine then runs where to see the villagers fled to and she then sees a familiar face holding the house sweating alot. "Tank!" She saw her old friend Tank Dracoheart with a huge smile on her face but knew danger was inside the house with a mother screaming on the outside. "SOMEONE SAVE MY CHILD HE IS STILL INSIDE THE HOUSE!" Vixine looks at Tank. "Quick lets go inside!" Tank still sweating. "WAIT......if I move this house will fall you'll have to do it alone Vixnie!" "Just save the child thats in there!" Vixine nodding immediatly goes inside the soon to be fallen house and transforms into her Esper form and fights her way through monsters that try to block her path and eventually sees a little boy sitting by the chimney all shaken and scared saying. "HELP IM SCARED!" Esper Vixine who is responding. "Dont worry your safe with me now!" "Just hang onto me!" The little boy hangs onto Esper Vixine and they soon fly out of the house at great speed and above the roof and they touch back down to the ground and the boy is safe. She changes back to normal and Tank eventually lets go of the house and everyone retreats away from the falling rubble. A few minutes later everyone eventually calms down and thank Vixine and Tank for their heroic efforts to save one of the villagers and she walks to Tank with a very happy face. "Tank your safe!" She hugs Tank with much happiness knowing that someone she knows is still alive. "Of course Im safe you think a little something like the end of the world is gonna do me in get serious." Vixine smiling. "Thats why I love your attitude Tank." "Now I know everyone is alive." "I feel it in my heart." Tank laughing. "Yes everyone is alive sis all you have to do is believe and we will see them again." Vixine responds with tears. "Ill be able to see Blitz again?" Tank putting his hand on her shoulder. "Yup you sure will just hold onto that Locket and he will come for it eventually." "So lets get everyone back together and get rid of Sephiroth and save the world!" Vixine nodding agreeing with Tank. "Ok but where do we go from here?" Tank responds. "Lets make our way to a chocobo shack then take the chocobo to a town called Nikeah they still launch ships from there and we can go to south Figaro." Vixine smiles and off they go to a chocobo shack nearby and ride two chocobo's all the way to the town of Nikeah. They look around town to buy everything they could from food to cloths to prepare for the long journey to recover everyone together again. Vixine went to the local bar togather more info on the surrounding area. Vixine seen the cloaked individual who had been following her. She noticed a black tail coming from the cloak and he suddenly ran out. Vixine pursued him but he instantly vanished from her eyes and seen Tank as he approached the dock. "Tank did you see him?" Tank responds. "No But I think he ran towards the dock!" They both ran to the dock where the boat was expecting to leave and Tank and Vixine boarded the ship headed for South Figaro with no signs of the cloaked tailed figure that they chased after. They eventually arrived at South Figaro pursuing the Tailed figure but immediatly lost him yet again as they ran all over town to chase him. Then they heard rumors of a castle that was still buried beneath the sands and decided to investigate it with the highly suspision that it was Figaro Castle itself and heard more rumors that a cave dugged by giant Earthworms have digged tunnels leading to the castle. So Vixine and Tank had made their way to the cave to see the cloaked tailed figure enter it and they knew they must capture and interrogate him for info. Who is this tailed Figure? Could it be Blitz himself or maybe someone more? Find out as the Ruin saga continues as Vixine gathers up everyone to reform the team.
